A Course in Miracles Experiment (by Pam Grout) Day 51

It’s not enough to just remind ourselves occasionally that great things are happening, whether we perceive them in our lives or not.

We’re aiming here for a continuous stream of positivity, to replace completely the negative garbage in our heads.

Think of it this way.  When you take the trash out, do you leave a little bit behind, to kind of hold that spot and remind yourself what the trash bin is there for?

Probably not.

So why leave any remnants of those negative thoughts in your head?

Pam Grout’s  plan for the next few days is a musical reminder to replace the negativity with a positive musical message.

Pull up a sound bite of artist James Brown’s “I Feel Good”, and let that song roll around in your head today every time you find a fearful, painful or unloving thought coming on.

It’s close to impossible to continue feeling bad, with “I Feel Good” running through your head.  That song will fill your mind with positivity, like it or not!

Practice this several times today, checking your head out for those creepy, uncompassionate thoughts, and replacing them with the catchy, upbeat rhythms of “I Feel Good” .

The goal is to make this an automatic reflex, so that every time your brain loses track and starts heading the wrong way, you immediately pull up a positive song to point you back onto the Divine path.

Feel GOOD today, and have a little fun!
