“The world I see holds nothing I want.”
All that I need, all that I am, is not what I see. Looking around, or in the mirror, all my perceptions are colored over by my ingrained beliefs, by my basic outlook on life.
The only way to get to the truth of who I really am is to discard the useless garments that disguise that true self.
If I can once see through the fabric of my own expectations, I start to get an idea of the human the Divine intends me to be. That human is gloriously beautiful, wonderfully compassionate and caring, incredibly inventive.
Why bother with the ego if it doesn’t work toward improvement?
Let go of your ego and all those misleading ideas. Let go of your material wants, your demands that life as you experience it should live up to your egos’ unrealistic expectations.
Put off the shackles that hold you in place. Hang out that laundry, and let the breeze make it fresh.
I remind myself daily that my vision is “through a glass, darkly”, and I have a responsibility to look farther, to try to understand more clearly, and to keep love and compassion uppermost in my heart.
You are unique, gorgeous, amazing!
Celebrate a new day, knowing that this day can bring you closer to revelation!
Have an astoundingly wonderful day today!
