Judgement is something we all indulge in, and is something none of us are qualified to practice.
Children (and kittens and puppies) are fun to be around because they haven’t gotten into the habit of constantly evaluating every person or experience yet. They simply “go with the flow”, accepting each new thing for its own merits.
As we grow up though, we begin to believe that we can compare what we think is happening to some fictional construct that “should” happen, and when the two don’t coincide, we act as jury and judge.
Unfortunately, we know too that most of the evidence is not visible, or just isn’t brought into the courtroom, because it gets overlooked in the haste to hurry up and sentence the prisoner!
Of all the millions of bits of raw data that our brains receive from our surroundings every moment, less than a hundred at a time are even acknowledged. How can we evaluate evidence that our brains don’t even show us?
We can’t. Simple enough. We can’t.
Lay down your judge’s robes. Get up out of that chair. Step out into a brand new world that’s ready and willing to take care of you and your every need. No judgement required.
Respond to every event with love and gratitude. Love and gratitude will come back to you multiplied.
Have a truly great day today!
