Three times today, look around you and say to yourself, “My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless reality.”
Tough, huh?
But if you allow those meaningless thoughts to take root, they’ll smother out the good thoughts, the productive and original, the loving and the creative thoughts, like a kudzu vine smothers the tree that it climbs.
The poor tree has no chance of survival, once the kudzu gets in. Kudzu will climb that tree and completely cover it in “meaningless thoughts” , until the tree dies for lack of light.
Pretty soon, there’s just a pile of kudzu on the ground, where a tree once stood.
This is your new thesis for life: “My thoughts determine what I see in this crazy, bizarre world.”
And, “My mind controls my reality.”
Start chopping that kudzu vine out of your mind.
And remember to embrace life, and joy!
