A Course in Miracles Experiment (by Pam Grout) Day 28

“Above all else I want to see things differently.”

I was reading “The Secret Life of Trees” by Peter Wohlleben, a  forester and author, where he talks about the amazing facts of how trees not only communicate, but actually take care of each other.

If you really want to see truth, the truth that surrounds you all the time, you are going to have to slow yourself down.

There’s no way Mr. Wohlleben could have ever figured out that mother trees take care of struggling baby trees around them, to the point of sharing nutrients with them, if he was moving at the pace of our modern society.

What other truths around us are we unable to see, because we’re looking in the wrong place, or even just at the wrong speed?

How often have you been blessed by some moment, some small thing, that changed you for the better?  The smile of a baby, the sight of a “V” of geese heading home, a majestic sunset.

True vision is sorely lacking in today’s world.  But, it’s free and freeing.

As many times today as you can, remind yourself that “vision is free”, and that when you see what’s truly there, blessings will flow.

Have a blessed day!
